speed reading

today is the Valentine day, as if I care, well in Oman we don't celebrate these things, we are Muslims and we believe that love can't be celebrate by one day but love is everyday
back to the class, I gave my students speed reading exersice, it was so funny, thhe text was 459 words and the lowest students took 15 min, they can read 18 words per minute, amahezing but true..
then it came to check their comprehension, we can be slow readers but we can understand and comprhend what's written,, well that's not the fact, the highest mark was 6 out of ten, it made me think what's going on
well, I should give them more exercises on speed reading because I am sure they are not as slow as they are, or maybe they are but they need more development,,

let's see what will happen
